Yard, Garden & Patio Show

February brings hints of spring to the Pacific Northwest—and it also brings professional landscapers and novice and experienced gardeners to the 2014 Yard, Garden & Patio Show, presented by Dennis’ 7 Dees Landscaping & Garden Centers. The Show starts the last Friday in February through March 2 and will showcase the best of the best in yard designs, while providing expert advice on making dream gardens a reality.

The Showcase Gardens, the most popular feature at the three-day event, will also focus on solutions to landscape challenges—the Designer’s Challenge—including maximizing small spaces and obstructing unsightly views.  There will be sustainable living options, outdoor cooking classes from notable local chefs, edible gardens including a food forest and free seminars geared to hobbyists and master gardeners.

Creating healing gardens and growing an herbal spa are trends worth noting and can be experienced at this year’s show.  The main exhibit hall will be packed with hundreds of booths showcasing a variety of plants, seeds, gardening equipment, garden art, and books—everything needed for imagining, starting and completing gardening projects. Wine tasting and Kid’s Digs make the Yard, Garden & Patio Show a complete entertainment option for the family.
