So you want to raise Chickens? This workshop will help you to take the first steps to having your own backyard farm. From planning your chicken coop, choosing your chicks/chickens to feeding and watering. This workshop will provide you with the basic knowledge on how to get started and what to expect.
Ben Nicholson has lived on the Mendocino Coast for the past 16 years. His love of raising chickens can be traced back to growing up on the family farm/ranch in the Santa Clara Valley. Where ever he has lived, chickens have found a way into his life. With a background in education and gardening it is a natural step for Ben to want to share his knowledge with others interested in raising chickens. Ben recently retired and is planning his dream chicken coop.
