The Gardens at Heather Farm presents Planting Combinations with Suzanne Arca. One major component of landscape design is combining plants that are aesthetically pleasing but compatible in terms of cultural requirements such as, their need for water, sun, and exposure. We will also discuss great combinations for textural impact and color contrast. You will see slides of these combinations and some actual plant specimens.
Suzanne Arca ASLA, APLD, CLCA – Founder and Principal of Suzanne Arca Design. Recipient of many awards including the Assoc of Professional Landscape Designers 2011 “Designer of the Year” award. Nearly 40 years of expertise in designing, building and maintaining landscapes and providing vision to residential and commercial property owners. Also an instructor at UC Extension Dept of Landscape Architecture and Merritt College’s Landscape Horticulture Dept.
