“Plant Hunters Sojourn in Nepal” with Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones

Join The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon for an evening with Sue and Bleddyn Wynn-Jones, from the famed Crug Farm Plants nursery in Wales. Sue and Bleddyn are inveterate plant explorers and their nursery is noted as a mecca filled with new and extraordinary plants from their annual sorties to remote corners of the globe. Bleddyn and Sue won the 2011 President’s Award at the Chelsea Flower Show for their display of exotic plants found on mountain tops, down ravines and in the middle of remote jungles.

The U.K. newspaper The Telegraph says Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones “…are well-known for their intrepid plant-collecting adventures abroad. Their nursery is a cornucopia of exotic plants that will get the pulse of even the most experienced plantsman racing.”

The program includes the presentation along with dessert. Cost for HPSO members if $15; $20 for nonmembers.
