Thursday Garden Talks with Lili Singer: Informative gatherings with horticultural specialists — for passionate home gardeners and landscape professionals

Topic: Our beautiful sister garden in La Cañada Flintridge has evolved greatly since its founding in 1939. Today’s changes include strides toward sustainability and preservation. This program highlights new gardens at the recently renovated Boddy House, as well as plans for expansion of the historic oak woodlands. Many extraordinary plants used and to be installed will be shown in class. Brian is a serious plant lover, master of horticultural displays and director of horticulture at Descanso Gardens.

For more information about the entire series led by Lili Singer and occurring eight Thursday mornings this fall, see the Arboretum’s Events & Classes website page.

Fee: $100 for the eight-part series, or $20 per class, you may pay at the door although pre-registration is required for sessions that include field trips.
