Garden enthusiasts: sign up for the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden’s unique tour of five prominent Montecito estates with distinctive native gardens, to experience firsthand how our beautiful California native plants are used in local landscapes. Participants visit a variety of local home gardens, designed gardens, and restoration projects only open to public viewing during this tour.  These unique gardens feature native trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground covers used for a variety of benefits including water conservation, sensitive habitat preservation, fire deterrence, fragrance, and beauty.

This event kicks-off the celebration of California Native Plant week April 14th and promotes awareness of the beauty and versatility of natives.  Please join us for this annual Garden Fundraiser to help support environmental education programs for school children of Santa Barbara and Central Coast.

Registration is required; sign up quickly as this tour sells out quickly. Fees are $55 for members and $65 for non members.  Visit the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden website to learn more about its programs; and the Classes and Events section for more tour details.
