Description: We often don’t take time to really observe the winter plants growing around us. The smallest sprig contains so much to observe! Please join us for a close look at the flora of your choice to create a colored pencil drawing or watercolor to take home. Bring a plant to draw or paint, or find one here. Adults of any skill level welcomed. Materials provided.

Instructor: Jane Nash received a BFA from Stratford College in Danville, Va. and attended graduate school in fine art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has consistently worked in the field of art her entire life, both teaching and painting. She is a successful muralist with both residential and commercial murals in many Southern California desert cities. She is currently a muralist in Portland and an art teacher at Village Home Educational Resource Center in Beaverton, OR and Leach Botanical Garden in Portland.
Cost: Registration required. $35.00 nonmembers/$30.00 member each class. 6 students minimum to run each class.
