Heronswood Plant Sale Event

In addition to the outstanding selection of plants on April 1st, delicious food and tribal crafts will be available at our Early Spring Sale including Canoe Club Salmon Plates, Desserts by Daisy Nelson, Price Family Indian Frybread and Tacos, Coffee Oasis Espresso Drinks and Beaded Jewelry by Betty.

Lectures include:  11am: Dan Hinkley: “Exceptional, Ethereal, Ephemeral; Early Spring Treasures for the Pacific Northwest” and 1pm: Riz Reyes: “The Influence of Heronswood: How I Learned to Travel the World in One Garden”.

Demonstrations and information will include: Pruning with Bess Bronstein, EdCC educator, horticulture consultant and ISA Certified Arborist.   Join Bess as she leads three pruning demonstrations. Demonstrations will start outside the Garden House at 11:00am, 12:30pm & 1:30pm.   Additionally there will be Master Gardeners – Plant ID and Diagnostic Lab and the Kitsap Regional Library information table.
