Salli Dahl is the current vice-president of the Northwest Fuchsia Society. She is in charge of maintaining the Northwest Hardy List and website. In the past she has been the president of the Western Fuchsia Species Society and Fuchsia Fanciers in Lewis County, WA. She is the author of two books on the history of the fuchsia in America and two booklets, one on the species and one on the hardy fuchsias.
