Garden-Style Propagation

Benefit from Martin Grantham’s years of experience and success in propagating and growing a wide range of plants from around the world, everything from desert succulents to cloud forest ferns. Home propagation methods that bring success for the amateur grower will be emphasized.
Practice in taking and handling softwood and hardwood cuttings, as well as sowing seed, will be part of the class. Find out the “how” and “when” and learn tried-and-true methods for acquiring new plants and increasing those favorites already in your garden.

Martin Grantham has taught plant propagation courses at community colleges such as Merritt, SF City, and most recently, Diablo Valley College.  He is the San Francisco State Greenhouse Manager.
