As gardens become mature, more plants are inevitably introduced when new ones prove irresistible to the gardener. This class discusses how to incorporate plants into an existing landscape, enhance the design and – using a designer’s techniques and perspective that keep the garden interesting. Marilee is a landscape consultant and founder of Comfort Zones Garden Design.
She teaches edible gardening, water conservation and sustainable garden design; founded the Green Gardens Tour to benefit Santa Monica kids (www.virginiaavenueproject.org ; and is a past district president of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
