East Bay CNPS Native Plant Fair and Sale

Celebrate native plants with the East Bay Chapter, California Native Plant Society during its annual Native Plant Fair. More than 20,000 plants native to Alameda and Contra Costa counties will be available to introduce into your garden, including many hard to find species, as well as favorites, including Mimulus, wild ginger, iris, huckleberry, Ceanothus, and Manzanita.

Discuss your plant needs with experts and also visit our unique nature related craft vendors on Saturday and Sunday.

Special Events: On Saturday, a distinguished set of poets will read nature themed poems and on Sunday a special presentation on native plants for butterflies will be provided.

The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) has 33 chapters throughout the state; the East Bay Chapter covers Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. The state organization and local chapters work together to increase understanding of California’s native flora and preserve this rich resource for future generations.
