Just in time for spring planting, the annual CHG Spring Plant Sale will be April 29th this year, open from 10:00 to 3:00. Expect to find shrubs and perennials appropriate for coastal growing, along with early annuals for summer color. Divisions from CHG plus starts from volunteers’ gardens will be ready for immediate transplanting, to add something that may be new to you or even a bit unusual, along with old favorites. There should be a good batch of primula japonica, the beautiful Candelabra primrose, which is often hard to find. Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
