Join us at San Diego Botanic Garden in collaboration with local horticulture and conservation experts to celebrate gardening for biodiversity.   

Enjoy a diverse menu of fun learning activities throughout the afternoon, including walking tours and a wide variety of short talks.   

Join us for food and drinks at an evening reception with many special guests. 

Event Highlights:   

  • Meet experts in horticulture and conservation and learn more about sustainable, water-wise, heat-tolerant, and native plant gardening with plant recommendations and gardening tips for fall planting. 
  • Help kick-off the taco diversity research project – an opportunity to assist with this citizen science project by eating tacos (and enjoying beverages)!  
  • All guests of the ticketed reception will receive a complimentary seedling of the Tecate Cypress (Hesperocyparis forbesii) from Bartlett Tree Experts – Legacy Tree Program
