Celebrate Trees for Arbor and Earth Day

The goal of Celebrate Trees! Earth Month Bainbridge Island is to raise awareness and encourage involvement for Arbor Day and Earth Day; and to inspire all to protect our trees, our environment, and our planet. Bloedel Reserve is a proud participant and supporter of this great community-led campaign.

Experience the beauty and wonder of Bloedel’s many trees on this brand new walk! Led by Ken Little, Bloedel’s own Arborist, as well as Tom Strid, a long-time Bloedel Guide and Volunteer, you will enjoy identifying many of Bloedel’s wonderful trees like our Giant Sequoias, Western Red Cedars, many incredible Cypresses, Spruces, and Pines in our Japanese Garden and more! Ask questions, expand your horticulture knowledge and revel in the wonder of Bloedel’s trees.  The walk will last approximately two to two and a half hours and take place rain or shine.

**Please note that the Friday walk is intended to be a more academic walk designed for adults to learn more about the plant species at Bloedel. We do not recommend this walk for children under age 14; Saturday’s Tree for Families is designed for adults and children of all ages.

Cost: $7 Members, $22 Non-Members; $5 children 6 – 13;  FREE for children 5 and under
