Examples include the Poppy, Rose, Pea, Evening-primrose, Buckwheat, Heather, Mint, Snapdragon, and Sunflower families. The course, taught by Mary Carroll, who holds a Master’s degree in Botany and is a former SBBG Director of Education, will start with a review of commonly used plant terminology and will include a few outdoor walks in the Garden and more extensive indoor plant identification study. Please bring: 10x hand lens.
