Bring Back the Natives Garden Tours

This award winning, self-guided tour showcases forty beautiful Alameda and Contra Costa county gardens that are pesticide-free, water-conserving, provide habitat for wildlife, and contain 60 percent or more native plants.

In addition to the Tour and plant sales, a series of workshops will be offered this spring.  Learn how to garden with California native plants in containers, install a drip irrigation system, and propagate native plants. Once again, Judy Adler will lead a tour of her amazing Walnut Creek garden (think chickens, pond, rainwater harvesting, native plants, fruit trees, seed collection, and more!).

A printed garden tour guide is available online as a pdf document or mailed hard copy with a payment of $10 online via credit card or PayPal. Guides will be mailed in mid-April. There are twenty tickets in the back of each guidebook. Each adult  must provide a ticket at the entry table before entering a garden. There are more than enough tickets for a party of 2-3 people, as most people generally see 4 to 6 gardens.
