The Arboretum Foundation’s beloved holiday sale and fundraiser returns in early December. The sale offers a wonderful selection of botanical holiday decorations, including:
- sustainably harvested wreaths, swags, and garlands
- unusual fresh-cut greens donated by local gardeners
- beautiful, handmade floral wreaths created by our volunteers
- customized centerpieces—made while you wait!
Expanded gift selection: The event is also a showcase for the Arboretum Shop, which sells an excellent selection of gardening and nature books, plant-themed jewelry, tools for green thumbs, and more. For Gifts & Greens Galore, we expand our regular shop offerings to include holiday-themed gifts, such as seasonal food from local purveyors, and handcrafted gift cards.
DIY demonstrations & craft activities: Following on the success of last year’s craft activities and lectures, we’ll again be featuring lots of DIY demos. Education staff from the UW Botanic Gardens will also be hosting seasonal craft activities for all the family.
