Join us for a fascinating look at Garden history with Andrew Doran, from The University and Jepson Herbaria.
Andrew has a background in both botanic gardens and herbaria and will talk about the unique history and relationship between the University & Jepson Herbaria and the UC Botanical Garden from the 1870’s to the present day. Andrew will use examples from field books, historic photographs, research notes, journals and specimens for this talk in addition to physical examples of objects, archives and herbarium specimens to illustrate the development of research and collections at the UC Botanical Garden and the Herbaria.
